UPDATE: Police seek help to identify body found on Lyndhurst Crescent

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Half- Way Tree police are seeking the public’s help to identify the body of a man that was found wrapped in a sheet on Lyndhurst Crescent in St Andrew on Friday.

According to the police, the body is of dark complexion, slim build, 170 centimetres or five feet seven inches long, and appears to be in the early twenties. It was clad in blue denim pants and had ‘XXX’ tattooed on the right side of the neck, the police said.

Reports are that about 7:45 am, residents stumbled upon the body and alerted the police. On their arrival, the body was seen lying on the roadway wrapped in multicoloured sheets.

The scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue pending further investigations.

Anyone with information that can assist the police is asked to contact the Half -Way Tree Police Station at 876-926-8185, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
