Mechanic who allegedly threatened neighbour with gun to appear in court
CLARENDON, Jamaica — A mechanic who allegedly used a firearm to threaten his neighbour during an argument in May Pen, Clarendon last Friday, has been slapped with charges stemming from the incident.
Charged with assault at common-law and possession of prohibited weapon is 29-year-old Nicholas Hamilton, otherwise called ‘Bigga’.
It is alleged that about 10:00 pm, Hamilton and his neighbour had an argument during which he brandished a firearm and made threats to him.
The incident was reported to the police and Hamilton was arrested.
He is set to appear in the May Pen Parish Court on Thursday, December 12.
