William Knibb 11th grade student succumbs to injuries sustained in motorbike crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica- Examinations at the William Knibb Memorial High School had to be suspended Thursday morning following news that an 11th grade student, who had been hospitalised after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, succumbed at hospital Wednesday night.
A sombre atmosphere blanketed the school when Observer Online visited the institution on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rodrique Frank, who was of a Deeside, Trelawny address.
Reports are that Rodrique was thrown from a motorbike he was driving on the roadway in his community Sunday night.
He was taken to the Falmouth Public General Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
The Falmouth police confirmed the accident.
