Fun with Santa in the park

Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) and Emancipation Park joined forces to bring some holiday cheer to children, in particular, on Sunday with the staging of Santa in the Park — A Family Fun Day.

Here, these little ones get up close and share a moment with Santa Claus.

The event featured rides, a food court, and a variety of arts and craft items on sale. The Jonkunno parade also proved entertaining for children and adults alike.

Santa in the Park climaxed with a grand concert featuring multiple JCDC Festival Song Competition winner Roy Rayon, popular show band Fab 5, the 2024 Festival Song Competition winner Kimeila “Candy” Isaacs, Nexus Performing Arts Company, Alpha Community Band, Faith D’Aguilar, and other performers.
