Christmas in the heart of the city with JN Bank

Notes of sweet-sounding Christmas music floated across the busy Half-Way-Tree urban centre on a gentle Christmas breeze as members of the National Chorale of Jamaica, the Kingston College Chapel Choir, and the Immaculate Conception High School Choir performed on the steps of the JN Bank, Half-Way-Tree branch, for passers-by on December 20.

From well-known hymns to Jamaican favourites, they sang lustily as people stopped to sing along or take photos and videos, savouring the musical treat arranged for them by the bank for the third consecutive year.

Targeted at reigniting the tradition of carolling, the event also showcased the talents of JN employees Davell “D’Suave” Thompson and Clara “CK” Kawha, who both performed crowd-pleasing originals and traditional Christmas songs to call the spirit of Christmas into the heart of the city.

Here are highlights from the event.
