A Stush, Star-Studded Affair

Multi-award-winning culinary establishment Stush in the Bush welcomed celebrated actor Idris Elba, his multi-hyphenate wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, daughter Isan, sister Marsha, and other family members, on Monday, December 23.

Elba’s sister Marsha, no stranger to Stush in the Bush, made the recommendation and indeed the reservations for this decidedly family affair.

Elba and family enjoyed menu offerings that ranged from the signature Jamaican mezze to lemon ricotta pancake, Stush cashew ricotta, crispy smoky coconut, plum tomato confit, deep fried cauliflower bathed in Stush sweet and spicy ginger sauce, sautéed calulu, roasted tomato vinaigrette, garlic aioli and Appleton Rum sugarcane gastrique. The meal closed with a spiced pumpkin pie with coconut whip and sorrel syrup.

Thursday Food shares exclusive highlights.
