NCU students receive scholarships from Chinese Ambassador
Eight students studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programmes at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) recently received scholarships from Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica Chen Daojiang (third right) The Chinese Ambassador’s scholarship is in its sixth year and has facilitated more than 30 students with excellent academic performance to complete their studies and realise their dreams.
Ambassador Daojiang encouraged the scholarship recipients to “hold high your ideals and live up to your youth. I am looking forward to seeing you bring glory and benefit to your people and country”.
