Two arrested in St Elizabeth after ganja find
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Two St Elizabeth men have been arrested after being held with 60 pounds of ganja over the weekend.
Charged with possession of ganja and dealing in ganja are Romeo Daley, otherwise called Dick, a 39-year-old farmer of Arlington District, St Elizabeth and Andy Eubanks, also called Dummy and Biggy, a farmer and labourer of Vineyard District, Dugal in St Elizabeth.
The police report that on February 1, about 1:00 pm, acting on intelligence, they went to a premises at Arlington District in the parish where both accused men were seen under a blue tarpaulin, packaging loose vegetable matter resembling marijuana, into small transparent bags.
The police say the haul weighed 60 pounds.
Further investigations led to both men being arrested and charged for the offences.
