Region’s ‘largest touring inflatable theme park’ to make April debut in Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Caribbean Mega Bounce, touted as the “region’s largest touring inflatable theme park”, is coming to Jamaica.
According to co-founder Kirkland “Bounce Boss” Kelly, the anticipation around the attraction is sky-high weeks ahead of its April arrival.
“We are bringing something really unique that will give you memories that will last forever,” Kelly said in a release.
The excitement bounces off April 19 to 21 at Devon House in St Andrew, before gliding into Ochi Rios, St Elizabeth, Clarendon, St Thomas and Buff Bay, Portland.
Caribbean Mega Bounce says it has an array of attractions suitable for all ages.
Caribbean Mega Bounce has an array of attractions suitable for all ages. The attractions are all custom designed, built specifically for touring in the region. The brand-new venture, which is Jamaican-owned, features huge bouncy houses that are some 100 metres long.
“There are inflatables more suitable for young kids and toddlers all the way to our massive obstacle course called the ‘Island Hooper’,” Kelly further shared. “This will be like nothing ever experienced. We will have attractions galore. There is a huge slide, an attraction called the ‘Wall of Sound’ and, of course, the main, which is a massive bounce house called ‘Mega Bounce Island’.”
Kelly said the event starts “very early” in the morning and will “run until 10:00 pm”. However, she noted that the two biggest rides will be closed to patrons under the age of 16 at 7:00 pm. This Kelly said is a strategic move to allow adults to also indulge in the fun.
There will be music also in the ‘Mega Bounce Island’.
“I think we can all agree that we need some good, clean, and positive family-oriented fun in Jamaica and that is what Caribbean Mega Bounce will deliver,” Kelly added, stating that prices to access the rides are reasonable and that tickets are now on sale at Caribtix.com.
