LLANDILO, Westmoreland- Former Premier League champions Reno FC will be going after a fourth straight win in the Jamaica Football Federation’s (JFF) Championships when they host Treasure Beach FC in a Zone B game set to be played at Llandilo Sports Complex today, starting at 3:00 pm.

Reno FC are off to their best start ever in the competition, winning all three games played so far. They take on fourth placed Treasure Beach FC who are four points adrift, in third place on five points.

Both teams are coming off 2-0 wins last weekend, Reno FC handed Mt Pleasant FA juniors their first loss while, Treasure Beach FC got their first win, beating St Bess United.

Falmouth United, second place in Zone B will be away to last placed St Bess United who are on one point and are the only team yet to score a goal in the competition. Falmouth United have won back-to-back games without giving up a goal, since their opening game 3-3 draw away to Treasure Beach FC and should get full points today.

Newcomers Duncans United are away to Mt Pleasant FA Juniors in a match-up of teams locked on four points and separated by goal-difference.

On paper, the visitors should have the better as the juniors have managed just three goals scored and have also conceded three goals.

Zone A leaders Lime Hall and Meadforest FC, both on seven points will be going after wins when they play away to Grays Inn SC and Tru Juice respectively.

Lime Hall who leads on goal-difference and are coming from the Jamaica Premier League, will be meeting third placed Grays Inn SC for the first time at this level and will hope to take home the win. Meadforest FC will be seeking their first win over Tru-Juice after losing 2-1 last season and drawing 0-0 but this could be one of the more competitive games of the day.
