Man dies at US Embassy after medical episode
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A Jamaican man on Monday died at the United States (US) Embassy in Kingston after reportedly experiencing a medical emergency.
The incident was confirmed by the embassy in a statement Monday evening.
According to the statement, the man suffered a medical episode at approximately 8:20 am and despite immediate medical attention, passed away.
His body was later removed by a funeral home. The deceased has not been identified.
The embassy extended its condolences to the deceased’s family and friends during this difficult time.
