Amber Group acquires 50% stake in Brawta Living

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Amber Group has acquired a 50 per cent stake in Brawta Living — a locally built and operated digital platform known for delivering unmatched value through deals and promotions.

This partnership will see Brawta Living becoming the nation’s first-ever subscription-based rewards platform, setting the stage for a digitally empowered shopping experience.

Dushyant Savadia, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Amber Group said, “Amber’s vision has always been about harnessing technology to uplift communities and strengthen local economies. By investing in Brawta Living, we’re creating a vibrant digital space where merchants and customers mutually benefit, redefining loyalty and enhancing the local shopping experience. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to innovation and community growth.”

Meanwhile, William Massias, founder and CEO of Brawta Living, noted: “Joining forces with Amber Group is a game-changer for Brawta Living and our users. Amber’s technological prowess enables us to completely change the shopping landscape in ways we previously only imagined. Our customers and merchant partners will soon experience a level of convenience, value, and rewards that will redefine loyalty in Jamaica.”

Brawta Living currently serves over 80,000 active customers and has surpassed an extraordinary milestone, having sold over $1 billion in vouchers, saving money for consumers across Jamaica.

With Amber Group’s technology and expertise, Brawta Living will evolve from a traditional deals site into a rewards platform, changing the way merchants and consumers interact online, driving growth, loyalty, and community engagement across Jamaica.

Local businesses will benefit from unprecedented digital exposure, enabling even the smallest merchants to compete effectively in the growing digital economy.

Consumers will also enjoy rewards on every purchase, earning points and cash back every time they shop, further encouraging Jamaicans to shop local and bolster community prosperity.
