Skeng, Tommy Lee Sparta, Nicki Minaj collab for Disappear Season

DropTop Records, Ratty Gang kick off 2025 with powerhouse track

What happens when Jamaica’s most fearless dancehall stars and hip-hop’s reigning queen join forces? You get Disappear Season — a high-energy, no-holds barred anthem that’s already shaking up the industry.

Produced by DropTop Records and Ratty Gang, this track is said to be more than just a song; it’s a statement.

Built on a haunting, piano-driven rhythm Disappear Season fuses dancehall, hip hop, and gothic elements, bringing together Skeng’s rebellious, rock star energy; Tommy Lee Sparta’s dark and hypnotic sound; and Nicki Minaj’s larger-than-life presence — all in one explosive record.

The moment Nicki Minaj jumped on the track it was clear this wouldn’t be an ordinary release.

The global rap icon, known for her love of Caribbean culture, wasted no time proving why she’s still at the top.

“Jamaica has always been home to some of the baddest, most creative artistes in the world. I’ve been inspired by dancehall my whole career, so this collaboration was long overdue! Skeng and Tommy Lee Sparta brought straight fire, real energy, real power,” said Nicki Minaj.

For Tommy Lee Sparta, the track is a reminder that dancehall has levels.

“Mi always say dancehall nuh have no limit. This song is proof di sound wicked, di vibes powerful, and Nicki just elevate it even higher!”

Skeng, whose rise has been nothing short of meteoric, summed it up perfectly: “From studio to street, this one a problem. It’s a different energy, and everybody ah feel it. This just di start.”

For DropTop Records, CEO Rowan Melhado this collaboration isn’t just about a hit single it’s about shifting the culture. He spoke on the experience of working with some of the most influential artistes in music today:

“This is the kind of record that reminds people why dancehall is unstoppable… This wasn’t just a collab, it was a movement. And, trust me, this is only the beginning,” he said.

From the moment Disappear Season dropped on March 9,2025 the response has been overwhelming. Fans are calling it one of the boldest dancehall collaborations in years, and streaming numbers are already soaring hitting #1 on the Reggae iTunes Chart in the USA and #3 on YouTube Trending Music. Industry insiders predict the track will be a global anthem, proving once again that dancehall’s influence knows no boundaries.

With DropTop Records & Ratty Gang leading the charge, Disappear Season is setting the stage for a ground-breaking year in music.

Disappear Season is now on all major platforms.
