Woman taken to hospital after car veers off MoBay Perimeter Road

ST JAMES, Jamaica — A woman has been taken to the hospital after the vehicle she was driving went over the side of the unfinished Montego Bay Perimeter Road on Thursday morning.

It is uncertain the extent of her injuries, as she was swiftly taken up by passers-by and assisted to a medical facility.

Reports are that she was travelling in a Mitsubishi motor car just before 7:00 am in the Salt Spring area of St James when she allegedly lost control of the vehicle and ended up several feet down.

The vehicle suffered extensive damage due to the impact of the fall.
