Business Social – April 13

J Wray & Nephew Limited (JWN) made a memorable impact at this year’s Expo Jamaica with an immersive booth that celebrated the company’s strong connection to Jamaican culture and craftsmanship.

Showcasing a powerhouse portfolio of its products, JWN welcomed hundreds of visitors to its award-winning booth, giving them the opportunity to sample the essence of Jamaica through flagship brands like the popular Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum, hailed as the spirit of football, and the premium Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum. In addition to highlighting its rich heritage, the company used the expo platform to promote responsible drinking initiatives, raising awareness and fostering greater appreciation for its locally crafted offerings.

Business Social offers glimpses of the booth.

Declaring “Responsible Drinking” as the only way to go, JWN Corporate Communications Manager Garfene Grandison and Brand Experience Manager Simone promote the brand’s ‘Party Proppa’ initiative.

Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness a celebrity visitor to the J Wray & Nephew booth at the recent staging of Expo Jamaica.

Winner of the night, Jimmy Mitchell, proudly displays his igloo full of prizes won during night two at JMEA 2025 Expo held at the National Indoor Sports Arena between April 3 and 6.

JWN Managing Director Daniel Caron (left) introduces Jamaica Chamber of Commerce President Philip Ramson to the ‘Party Proppa’ responsible drinking campaign during the opening ceremony of Expo Jamaica on April 3, 2025.

As one of the island’s most iconic brands, spirit manufacturer JWN honoured its legacy while showcasing its powerhouse portfolio at the recently concluded JMEA Expo 2025.

The JWN team captured in high spirits on stage after walking away with second place for Best Jamaican Spirit Booth and first place for Best Overall Booth at Expo Jamaica 2025, held April 3-6.
