Gas prices up $3.06, diesel down $0.15

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 1, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline up by $3.06, 90-octane will be sold for $160.55 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $154.52 per litre.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $152.54 per litre after a decrease of $0.15 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $161.71 per litre up by $3.06.

Kerosene is up by $3.06 and will be sold for $142.11 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $69.47 per litre up by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $76.47 per litre up by $3.06.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markup to these prices.
