‘Beauties at Brunch’ celebrates mothers in style at the Serengeti
The lush grounds of the Serengeti at Hope Zoo came alive on Sunday, May 11, for the annual Beauties at Brunch, a vibrant Mother’s Day celebration.
Guests were treated to a joyful, interactive experience curated with elegance, entertainment, and heartfelt appreciation for the incredible women in attendance.
Master of Ceremonies Jennifer ‘Auntie Jen’ Savariau Morris kept the energy high, engaging patrons with her signature charm and flair, ensuring smiles and laughter flowed freely throughout the event.

A delectable spread of brunch favourites delighted the palates of all, while the soothing sounds of live entertainment by Matthew Malcolm added a special musical touch to the day.
In a touching tribute, each mother was presented with a beautiful rose, graciously sponsored by The New Greenhouse, adding a floral flourish to the day’s festivities. The celebration continued with an array of giveaways from generous sponsors including Chas E. Ramson, Carimed, Blue Power, National, JP Tropical Foods, and Extras Mall Plaza, making the day even more memorable for all mothers present.
Event curator Sophia Walcott expressed her joy at the success of this year’s brunch, stating, “It was an honour to celebrate mothers in such a meaningful way and to partner with the Hope Zoo Preservation Foundation, which received part proceeds from this event. Their work in wildlife conservation is vital, and we are proud to support it.”
Beauties at Brunch has become a cherished tradition, bringing families and communities together each Mother’s Day. With the 2025 event drawing praise for its elegance and warmth, organisers are already looking ahead to the 2026 staging.
