Man hospitalised, ganja seized following two-vehicle Manchester crash
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A man has been hospitalised following a two-vehicle crash on the Fine Grass to Chudleigh main road in north east Manchester on Saturday night.
Preliminary reports are that about 10:00 pm, the man was driving a Honda Civc motorcar towards Walderston when it collided with a Honda Stream traveling in the opposite direction.
The impact resulted in the cars blocking the main road. Fire was later observed coming from the engine of the Honda Civic. The driver managed to exit the car before it caught fire. He sustained serious injuries including a broken leg.
The Christiana police and fire brigade were called to the scene. When the police arrived, bags of what appeared to be ganja were seized from the trunk of the Honda Civic.
The injured man was transported to hospital by the police in a pickup.
