Fun time expected at Brunch ‘N’ Play: Father’s Day Edition
Paula Pinnock, organiser of Brunch ‘N’ Play: Father’s Day Edition, promises that the family-friendly event will be memorable for all attendees.
It will be held on Sunday, June 15 at Hope Gardens in St Andrew between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
“We have a tendency to celebrate moms, and dads often feel neglected. This event is about families, friends, organisations coming together to celebrate the amazing dads of all kind and showing them how much they are appreciated,” Pinnock told the Jamaica Observer.
There will be live music by DJ Bunpan, as well we giveaways, rides, and refreshments on sale.
The day will also host a 5v5 football competition powered by Jamaica Public Service (JPS), and will be executed by the Youth Football League. The competition is brainchild of FYI Consultancy Group.
Pinnock added that, through partnerships, planning has been advanced.
“We are delighted to have two amazing new partners and sponsors. 876sixers will partner with us for the domino tournament and JPS has come on board in a big way. Out 5v5 football tournament will be powered by JPS. As a company that’s powered by so many amazing dads we are excited to have the JPS family on board,” she said.
The organiser is encouraging father and father figures to attend in order to indulge in the day’s activities.
“Set inside Funland Jamaica, it’s the perfect space for good food, family, and fun. There is something for everyone and dads can relax, play some domino, play some football, or cheer on other dads in a safe, fun space,” she said.
