Chicken frenzy: Jamaicans flock KFC locations for 50th anniversary deal
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Customers across the island flocked to several KFC locations as early as 5:00 am before their 10:00 am opening hours to take advantage of the 50th anniversary deal on Wednesday morning.
In celebration of their anniversary, customers who purchase a big deal will get a meal deal free. However, only five meal deals are allowed per customer.
Several individuals have already gathered at the KFC outlet at Howard Cooke Boulevard in Montego Bay.
Individuals standing at the gate and those in cars waited patiently for the expected 10:00 am opening.

Meanwhile, a family of four drove down from Golden Grove in St Ann to the KFC in Drax Hall. They were the third vehicle in line at KFC Drax Hall drive-through.
They say they will be spending $15,000 on chicken for their family.
There are also long lines at the outlets in Crossroads and King Street, Downtown Kingston.
