Woman In Love dominates Good Prospect Trophy at Caymanas Park
The three-year-old chestnut filly Woman In Love continued her impressive form, capturing the $1.1-million Good Prospect Trophy feature at Caymanas Park on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Trained by Peter-John Parsard, Woman In Love led from start to finish, winning by 1¾ lengths in a time of 1:23.3 (23.4 x 48.1 x 1:16.1) over 6½ furlongs (1,300m). The race was a Restricted Allowance II contest for native-bred three-year-old fillies (non-winners of two).
Champion jockey Raddesh Roman expertly guided Woman In Love to the early lead, which she maintained down the backstretch ahead of
Kimuchi (Emelio McLean), Native Flyer (Andrew Wright), and Khaleesi (Paul Francis). As they navigated the half-mile (800m) turn,
Woman In Love upped the tempo and turned for home with a strong lead on a merry clip, securing a convincing victory ahead of Enthusiasm (Omar Walker) and Cosalivin (Phillip Parchment).
This win marks Woman In Love’s second-consecutive victory from four starts, following her maiden win on June 7 over 5½ furlongs (1,100m). Her rapid improvement and dominant performance have showcased her potential for future success.
