Death toll rises to five people after Trelawny crash

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The death count from the crash involving a minivan that overturned on the Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny on Sunday morning has increased to five.

Two died on the scene and three others died at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.

Seven other individuals remain in hospital for treatment.

The deceased have not been identified, however, Observer Online was informed that they were of Kingston addresses.

The Falmouth Police are probing.
