Police announce road closure to facilitate PNP mass rally in Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica—The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is advising members of the public that several roads in Spanish Town will be closed to facilitate the People’s National Party mass rally in Emancipation Square, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The mass rally will take place between the hours of 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Wednesday.
The following road closure will take effect:
● White Church Street in the vicinity of Wellington Street will be closed;
● King Street in the vicinity of the Old Market intersection will be closed, and
● Barrett Street in the vicinity of the Monk Street intersection will be closed.
Motorists using Barrett Street in a northerly direction will be rerouted to Monk Street, onto Old Market, and on to King Street.
