WATCH: Buchanan banking on St Andrew West Rural track record to win over West Central constituents

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Having been nominated to contest the St Andrew West Central constituency in the September 3 General Election, the People’s National Party’s Paul Buchanan told journalists that he has the numbers to do what no other candidate has done for almost 30 years: Defeat Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness.

According to Buchanan, he will spend the next two weeks plus telling the people of the constituency his plans for when he takes charge.

He said he intends to point to his achievements in the St Andrew West Rural constituency — where he served one term as Member of Parliament from 2011 until 2016, when he was defeated by the Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Juliet Cuthbert Flynn — to convince the people of the improvements he will bring for their constituency and them.
