First Look @Louis Vuitton’s La Beauté w/Pat McGrath

In March, Tuesday Style Beauty (TSB) joined publications across the globe in announcing Louis Vuitton’s long-anticipated entry into the luxury beauty world with the launch of make-up line La Beauté, a collaboration with veteran make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath. Serving as creative director, McGrath and the French luxury fashion house have shared an official first look at the products and packaging.

The initial product volley — eight eye shadow quartets, called LV Ombres; 10 shades of a sheer lip balm, called LV Baume; and, most incredibly, 55 shades (a nod to the roman numerals for LV) of Rouge lip colour in satin or velvety matte — will officially be available to shop on August 29.

Each La Beauté item has a magnetic case that snaps and swivels shut in a way that signals something pleasing, like a trunk clasp being locked. The black-and-gold packaging is German furniture designer Konstantin Grcic’s foray into the beauty world. It features beautiful flourishes, like the brand’s signature four-point flower as an overlay for compact.

There’s also releasing a new vanity trunk paying homage to those early Louis Vuitton creations and McGrath’s own backstage beauty station, as well as special make-up cases. If you have an appetite for luxury, La Beauté has all the treats!

Among the most anticipated products are the La Beauté Louis Vuitton Baume lip balms and La Beauté Louis Vuitton Baume lipsticks..
