KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prophetess Latoya Edwards, president of Trailblazers for Christ Talk Show Outreach Ministries, will host the first staging of The Remnants Are Rising Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kingston from September 5 to 6.

“The Remnants Are Rising Conference is a gathering of believers who feel called to stand strong in faith, no matter the challenges around them. It’s important to me because this is more than an event – it’s a movement. God has placed a burden on my heart to equip, encourage, and empower His people, especially in these times when so many feel spiritually weary,” Prophetess Edwards said of the two-day spiritual gathering.

Attendees can expect powerful worship, anointed speakers, prophetic impartation, and an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit moves freely. They will also experience genuine fellowship, encouragement, and practical tools to walk boldly in their calling.

“My aim is to awaken the remnant – those chosen to stand in this season – and equip them spiritually, mentally, and emotionally to fulfill their God-given assignments. I want attendees to leave feeling renewed, empowered, and unshakable in their faith,” she added.

Originally from St Andrew, Prophetess Latoya Edwards is a minister, motivational speaker, philanthropist, entrepreneur, a mom, and a wife.

As she describes, each of these roles shapes her perspective and fuels her passion to serve others. Currently residing in Miramar, Florida, she is the founder of ‘A Mother’s Love’, a charity dedicated to helping struggling mothers and families in need.

This includes donating tablets, paying school fees, and providing essential support to mothers in hospitals, especially those who have just given birth.

“Our mission is to bring hope, relief, and encouragement to families who need it most. I have contributed and partnered with different charity organisations in the USA and Jamaica to assist with back- to- school drives and bag sponsoring,” she added.

“The future is expansion. I see Remnants Are Rising becoming an international movement, reaching believers worldwide, building a strong network of Kingdom-minded individuals, and providing year-round mentorship and support,” Prophetess Edwards explained.

As the event draws near, her focus is on continuing the work God has called her to – expanding the reach of this conference, growing A Mother’s Love to impact even more families, developing resources for Kingdom advancement, and stepping into new territories where she can serve and make a lasting impact.

“I just want to encourage anyone reading or listening – you are not forgotten. You are part of God’s plan for this season. The remnant is rising, and you are needed. Step out in faith, because the world is waiting for the light you carry,” she said.
