Mt Pleasant second in Concacaf club ranks
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Former Jamaica Premier League champions Mt Pleasant FA have moved up eight places in the Concacaf Club ranking index to number two in the Caribbean and 78th in the Confederation.
These results were revealed in an article on the Concacaf website published on Monday, September 8.
Mt Pleasant who leads their Concacaf Caribbean Cup Zone A after back-to- back wins are second in the Caribbean behind Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic.
“The Concacaf Club Rankings Index grades all clubs and leagues across the confederation. Teams gain points for results in official domestic league matches, regional cup matches, and Concacaf Champions Cup play,” the article said.
Defending Caribbean club champions Cavalier SC are third in the region with Arnett Gardens ninth and Montego Bay United 10th.
