Disciplinary actions taken by JRC stewards

The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St Catherine, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Jockey Jemar Jackson who rode Dimetry P in the first race on Saturday, October 4, 2025 was suspended for one race day for excessive use of his whip. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Jockey Shane Richardson who rode Midnight Runner in the ninth race on Saturday, October 4, had his explanation accepted for the intimidation and interference caused to Prince Roy leaving the 400-metre point.
