Fearless Force to lead home rivals in I’msatisfied Trophy
The $1.4-million I’msatisfied Trophy takes centre stage on tomorrow’s nine card. A field of seven runners will face the starter in the Open Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs (1,200m).
Below, the Jamaica Observer’s The Supreme Racing Guide takes a look at each runner and their chances of winning.
1. UNSPUN (USA): (3 dk b/br c by Spun to Run – U Needa Ride) – Was an easy winner on September 28 in the class below. Unspun is going to find it difficult repeating here but he could run a good race nonetheless.
2. CHAMPION BUBBLER (USA): (6 b m by Tapiture – Countess Claire) – Has no winning chance.
3. PERFECT BREW: (6 b g by Bern Identity – Moonlight Brew) – Recorded his first of the season from 12 starts on September 20 going 6 ½ furlongs (1,300m). Perfect Brew is going to be left behind in this one.
4. MONEY MARKET: (5 b h by Successful Native – Soca Dancer) – Very consistent runner who has one win and five second place finishes from eight starts this season. Money Market is going to make a brave bid here.
5. MAMMA MIA: (5 ch m by Soul Warrior – Princess Geeta) – Defeated Fearless Force two starts back over this distance on August 16. Mamma Mia has trained well coming into this race and given her fine speed, she is going to make a bold bid here.
6. CALIFORNIA CROWN: (4 ch c by Hedge Fund – Dream Big) – Finished in fifth places in his last five starts. However, California Crown has visited the winners’ enclosure three times this season and based on his preparations coming into this race, a winning run is on the table.
7. FEARLESS FORCE (USA): (4 dk b/br f by Anchor Down – A Merry Song) – Wasn’t a factor in the recent Gold Cup run over 7 furlongs (1,400m). Fearless Force finished in seventh place by over 10 lengths behind
Legacy Isle and Rideallday. Get a cheaper field here, Fearless Force is poised for a winning run.
