Jamaica trail Curacao at half time

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The ReggaeBoyz trailed Curacao 1-0 at halftime in their Concacaf final round World Cup qualification Group B game at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in  Willemstad on Friday.

Livano Comenencia gave the Dutch colony the lead in the 14th minute when his shot from outside the area beat goalkeeper Andre Blake.

It was the first goal Jamaica was conceding in their third game in the round.

Jamaica had a few chances to at least draw level but efforts from Renaldo Cephas and Tyreece Campbell came up short.

Head coach Steve McClaren had made six changes to the starting team from the one that had won their games against Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago in the first two games of the round.
