WATCH: Police widens search for missing schoolboy Jayden Smith
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Even as police have extended their search for missing Manchester schoolboy Jayden Smith, his guardians have welcomed a search of the area surrounding their home in Wales, Newport, Manchester.
His guardians, Ann-Marie Thompson and Omar Thompson, said they have been affected by constant rumours and speculations surrounding Jayden’s disappearance with threats being made against them.
Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Specialized Operations, the canine unit, the missing persons desk, the Newport police, among others, are now combing the area.
Jayden was reported missing exactly two weeks ago.
