WATCH: Soup King re-opens at Market Place
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Soup King officially reopened on Saturday at Market Place, 67 Constant Spring Road, treating customers to free soup on the house during the relaunch.
“Soup King is a brand that I’ve had before, but we have relaunched, and today is the day to do a grand sampling for all our customers, new and old. Just come by, have some soup, give us some feedback, restore that lovely feeling that you had with us all over again, and that’s what we’re doing right now. So we just have 500 soups given away and just hanging out and vibing with our old and new customers,” said Adrian Wilson, co-owner of Soup King.

A customer shared her excitement about the reopening: “This isn’t my first time at Soup King. I used to have them when they used to be at Lynders Road, if you know, you know. I’m having the seafood fiesta, and it is my favourite soup that I have. I love all their soups, but this one is my favourite. If you haven’t tried Soup King yet, you’re missing out. You have to come down here to the Marketplace and try them.”
“I’m a soup man. Sometimes I boil a pot of soup and divide it, and put it in my freezer. So I can always have soup. So when I come here and find that they have chicken soup, shrimp soup, and it tastes good, I’ll be here repeatedly,” another customer said.
