Policeman suspected of committing suicide in St Elizabeth

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A police constable is suspected to have committed suicide in Barbary Hall in south west St Elizabeth mid-afternoon Wednesday.

His identity has not been released. However, he is said to be age 29, according to police sources. The constable was reportedly assigned to a station in the Corporate Area.

Preliminary reports are that the policeman’s body was found hanging from a tree in the Barbary Hall area.
