Restaurant Associates Limited joins relief efforts after Hurricane Melissa
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Restaurant Associates Limited (RAL) has joined national relief efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.
On Sunday, RAL teams and volunteers prepared 1,300 meals for residents and essential workers in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, in partnership with Project STAR.
The company has pledged to continue collaborating with organisations on the ground to provide relief support wherever it is urgently needed.
Former Member of Parliament Lisa Hanna shared in a post to her Instagram story, “As a company deeply rooted in Jamaica, we are committed to supporting the communities that have always supported us.”
She added, “In the days ahead, we will continue working with local authorities, relief agencies, and community partners to identify how best we can contribute to the nation’s recovery, through meals, resources, and hands-on support.”
RAL is operators of Burger King, Popeyes, Little Caesars, and Krispy Kreme in Jamaica.
