48-hour curfew imposed in Waltham Park
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed on a section of Waltham Park, Kingston 11.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 23, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25.
The boundaries are as follows:
North: Along Cortina Avenue from the intersection of Waltham Park Road to the intersection of Woodham Crescent and Verbena Avenue.
South: Along Yap Clos, from the intersection of Waltham Park Road to a section of Woodham Crescent.
East: Along Waltham Park Road from the intersection of Yap Close to the intersection of Waltham Park Road and Cortina Avenue.
West: Along Woodham Crescent to the intersection of Woodham Crescent and Yap Close to the intersection of Verbena Avenue and a section of Cortina Avenue.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
