Three vehicles, motor vehicle parts recovered in St Catherine
KINGSTON, Jamaica—Three vehicles, along with motor vehicle parts were recovered during an intelligence-led operation by the St Catherine North police on Friday morning in the community of Friendship off St John’s Road, Spanish Town.
Three people were also taken into custody.
“One of the vehicles that were recovered was stolen in the parish of Manchester sometime after 1:30 am on Friday, December 12, 2025 and was later taken to the location in Friendship,” senior superintendent of Police (SSP) Hopton Nicholson, commanding officer for St Catherine North, told Observer Online.
SSP Nicholson added that the police believe this particular location is used by a car stealing syndicate as part of their illegal operations.
He also implored motorists to exercise caution in protecting their vehicles, especially during the festive season.
