Manchester communities to go under curfew
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew will be imposed in sections of Manchester, effective from 6:20 pm on Thursday, January 1, 2026, to 6:20 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
The curfew applies to the following areas:
– Brokenhurst
– Old England
– Barnstable
– May Day
– Albion
– Green Street
– Tulsa Road
– Hillside
– Sunset
– Inverness Waltham
– Cedar Grove
Residents are advised to stay indoors and cooperate with authorities during this period. The curfew is aimed at maintaining order and ensuring public safety.
