Caribbean Foods Limited, manufacturer of the Foska brand, formally handed over a donation of Foska Oats to Food For The Poor on January 14, aimed at supporting families affected by Hurricane Melissa. The donation is expected to provide immediate nutritional assistance to more than 6,000 vulnerable families across hard-hit communities, as recovery efforts continue. The handover brought together representatives from the private sector and civil society, including Food For The Poor, the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), and Caribbean Foods’ leadership, underscoring the role of locally manufactured staples and corporate partnerships in disaster response and post-storm recovery efforts.
