Smitten From The Start

When Daniella Hall first encountered Shevaughne Wynter, she didn’t just see a partner — she saw her future. She was spot on! On August 27, 2025, they exchanged vows against the backdrop of Ocean Coral Spring Resort in Trelawny in a vibrant celebration of love and heritage.

The spark was ignited in September 2012 by nothing more than a simple smile across a crowded room. Catching each other’s eye at a friend’s party in Canada was a chance encounter that would eventually bridge the distance between her Canadian roots and his Jamaican heritage.

“I was immediately drawn to his charisma and that charming smile,” Daniella shared with Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). “We had a great initial connection that naturally flowed into deeper conversations. I realised we kept locking eyes across the room, and I knew right then I wanted to get to know him more.”

Their attraction blossomed through shared dreams and late-night conversations. By the time they escaped for a weekend at Niagara Falls, they were officially a couple, and she realised she had finally found her soulmate.

“We dated for a few months, and the more I got to know him, the more I realised he was ‘The One,’” Daniella said. “He shared my values and love for family, and our goals just lined up perfectly.”

The decade that followed was a beautiful odyssey marked by the expansion of their family to include three children. Ten years of love led to one life-changing question as Shevaughne proposed to Daniella on March 23, 2023.

“He told me he was taking me to dinner at an upscale restaurant at a five-star hotel in downtown Toronto. When we arrived, we took the elevator up to the 27th floor, and when it opened, he escorted me to what I thought was the restaurant, only for it to be a private room overlooking the breathtaking Toronto skyline. There was soft music playing, and on the floor was a walkway lined with rose petals and candles leading to a ‘Will you marry me?’ sign. He got down on one knee and proposed. I was blown away.”

Two years later, their dream wedding became a reality at Ocean Coral Springs Resort in Trelawny. Daniella stunned in a mermaid-style gown as she walked up the aisle on her father Donald Hall’s arm. To the strains of Eric Benét and Tamia’s Spend My Life With You, she made her way to a waiting Shevaughne.

At the reception, the air was filled with toasts and tributes for the happy couple. After the cutting of their three-tiered hotel-catered wedding cake, the newly-weds opened the dance floor to the sounds of H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar’s Best Part, followed by Kes The Band’s Cocoa Tea, bringing to a close an unforgettable day.

Shevaughne and Daniella honeymooned at the resort.
