Real MoBay, Wadada hunt first win in Sandals Major League

Former champions Wadada FC and Real MoBay AFC will hope to get their first win of the St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League season when they meet at Green Pond High, starting at 3:30 this afternoon.

The teams are on one point each. Wadada FC drew their opening game against Reggae Youths last weekend, while Real MoBay AFC played out a 1-1 result against Granville United. Real MoBay had lost their opening game 1-3.

Meanwhile on Saturday, former winners Faulkland FC will be going after three-straight wins when they take on Granville in the second game of a double-header at Jarrett Park.

Faulkland are coming off a 3-0 win over Norwood Strikers on Saturday and have outscored their two opponents 6-1. They will face a Granville team that has drawn both their games so far.

Granville will be without Ralick Peddie who scored against Real MoBay but was later sent off after picking up two yellow cards.

MoBay City FC will be hunting a second-straight win of the season when they host Lilliput Rovers at Wespow Park.

Lilliput Rovers are also coming off a win, previously beating Cambridge United 3-1. But Lilliput will be without Romaine Roberts who was expelled from that game.

Heights FC, who beat Bogue FC 6-1, are to battle MoBay Boys Club in the first game at Jarrett Park. Heights player Jevar Maxwell, who scored four goals in their last game, will hope to add to his tally.

Montego Bay Boys Club will hope to rebound with a win after they were beaten by MoBay City last week.

On Sunday, Montego Bay United (MBU) Youths and Norwood Strikers will both be seeking their first win when they meet at Jarrett Park, starting at 1:00 pm.

In their only game played so far, MBU Youths lost 1-2 to Reggae Youths, while Norwood are on one point from their two games.
