Parsard saddles four winners over the weekend at Caymanas Park

Peter-John Parsard, the Most Improved Trainer from last season, continued his strong start to the 2026 racing season by saddling four winners at Caymanas Park over the weekend.

Parsard’s winning streak began on Saturday, March 28, where he secured three victories with Olivia D’Oro, Boss Man, and Feeling Free. He followed up the next day with another win, courtesy of Don’t Tell Lou Lou.

Three-year-old American-bred dark bay brown filly Olivia D’Oro (Enticed – Lil Bess), ridden by Dane Dawkins, was an easy winner of a $1.05-million Maiden Special Weight contest for native-bred and imported three-year-olds over 7 furlongs (1,400m).

Wearing the cheek pieces and first time lasix, Olivia D’Oro won by a length and a half ahead of Unbelievable Force (Delroy Beharie) and Infinity Star (Paul Francis) in a time of 1:28.0 (24.1 x 48.0 x 1:14.2).

Boss Man (Bern Identity – Miss Boss Lady), with Omar Walker in the saddle, won by three-parts of a length in a $820,000 Restricted Allowance III contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of four) and imported four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three) over 7 seven furlongs.

Boss Man won ahead of Bowmore (Raddesh Roman) and Thousand Treasure (Emelio McLean) in a time of 1:27.2 (23.3 x 47.3 x 1:13.3).

Feeling Free (Northern Giant – Fantastic Feeling) was victorious in the $780,000 Grooms’ Association of Jamaica (GAJ) Trophy. Feeling Free came from behind runners to win the Restricted Allowance IV contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three) and imported four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of two) over five furlongs (1,000m) on the straight course by a length.

The four-year-old chestnut colt Feeling Free, ridden by Dawkins, got up in time to beat
Strong Mind (Raddesh Roman) and Margarita (Clive Lynch) in 0:59.4.

Don’t Tell Lou Lou’s victory on Sunday came in a Restricted Allowance V contest for native-bred five-year-olds and upward (non-winners of two) and imported five-year-olds and upward (maidens) over 5 furlongs straight.

With apprentice jockey Shaheem Gordon in the irons, Don’t Tell Lou Lou (Savoy Stomp – Lastochka) defeated Fort Haldane (Richie Shakes) and Undeclared War (Ramon Nepare) by a length and a half in a time 1:01.2 (24.2 x 48.1).

With those winners, Parsard took his tally to 13 winners for the season.
