THE woman-led Bailey Wealth Group (BWG) recently brought together a selected group of professional women and female entrepreneurs at The Coppers, for a networking event in recognition of International Women’s Month.

“As a mother, wife, educator and entrepreneur, I understand the demands on women that sometimes lead us to neglecting the financial planning necessary for our growth and creating a legacy. So I wanted to curate this event to celebrate and connect women so we can share our unique journeys of navigating careers, family life, our goals and desires, while empowering and supporting each other,” said Keisha Bailey, financial strategist and CEO of BWG.

The financial powerhouse also shared openly about her leap of faith from corporate to entrepreneurship while juggling motherhood and life, propelled by a passion for empowering the next generation of wealth builders with the tools, strategy and access to experts, to form the now year-old company.

“With more women at the helm of major corporations in Jamaica and increased participation in entrepreneurship, financial empowerment of women is a critical driver for economic growth,” noted Bailey. As such she used the occasion to delve into practical financial insight, unpacking a cornerstone of BWG’s philosophy: multiplying income through strategic investments, ownership of assets and/ or building businesses, as a path to sustainable, intergenerational wealth creation.

To add a light flair and complement the experience, Shanique Ellington, managing director of Le Champ Cosmetics, led a make-up demonstration designed to suit women with busy lifestyles. The artist guided the ladies through the seamless, simple techniques to create a polished, “everyday look” that transitions effortlessly from boardroom to evening engagements, while enhancing their confidence and style.

This networking event, dubbed ‘Women & Wealth, is part of BWG’s lifestyle series, thoughtfully designed to bring together professionals, entrepreneurs and investors to forge meaningful connections and partnerships, enhance their financial education and explore wealth-building opportunities.
