Cherry Gardens lots handed over

From left: Calvin Ross of the National Housing Trust (NHT); NHT Chairman Linval Freeman; Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness; NHT Managing Director Martin Miller; and Member of Parliament for St Catherine West Central Dr Christopher Tufton participate in the planting of a ceremonial tree at the handover ceremony of 34 serviced lots to new homeowners in the Cherry Gardens Housing Development in Kitson Town, St Catherine, on Wednesday.

The handover is part of a wider project delivering 193 lots through the National Housing Trust and private partners.

Each lot includes paved roads, potable water, drainage, electricity, and green spaces to support a community.
