Ambulance involved in crash in MoBay
ST JAMES, Jamaica—An ambulance assigned to the Western Regional Health Authority (WRHA) was involved in a crash a short while ago.
The ambulance, a Toyota Hiace model, collided with a Toyota Hiace bus at the intersection of Howard Cooke Boulevard, Alice Eldemire Drive and Tony Hard Boulevard.
The ambulance sustained damage to the front left side, while the other vehicle overturned on the roadway.
According to initial reports, no injuries have been sustained, and it is believed that two individuals were travelling in the ambulance and one in the other vehicle.
The crash occurred in close proximity to the Freeport Police station, and lawmen quickly responded to the scene.
