Gas prices up $4.50, diesel down $0.25
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, April 23, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $188.57 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $181.13.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $188.75 per litre after a decrease of $0.25, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $195.59 per litre, down by $0.25.
Kerosene decreased by $0.25 and will be sold for $178.14 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $78.88 per litre, up by $1.20, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $86.80 per litre, down $1.00.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to these prices.
