Skillibeng and Scalebaby gear up for major tour
Fast-rising dancehall artiste Scalebaby has been steadily climbing the musical ladder locally and internationally following a flow of single releases as well as various collaborative efforts, including projects with Skillibeng and Prince Swanny.
According to the artiste, he is set to go on tour with the Crocodile Teeth deejay in the next few weeks. Scalebaby says he has released two new singles in a bid to continue to grow his fanbase and general buzz before he embarks on his latest tour.
He has also secured major collaborations with Skeng and Stalk Ashley, which are set to be released in a matter of weeks.
“I have been blessed to be given the opportunity to work with some of the most talented artistes and producers in the game. Right now, my goal is to continue growing my brand by continuing to deliver good music. Me a get di run and me a mek use a it. Big tour a forward suh me a put in di work yuh zimmie,” said Scalebaby.
The deejay recently released two new singles entitled Saratoga and Trouble, both of which have already become staples at weekly street parties and are also making the rounds on social media.
Scalebaby said he is building on the success of his collaborative efforts with Skillibeng and Prince Swanny, which introduced him to the international market.
“The features with Skillibeng and Prince Swanny opened many doors for me, but Saratoga and Trouble will cement me in the game as a serious contender. I feel very excited about the feedback I am getting about these tracks. I feel like one of them or both will hit the charts very soon because the numbers look really good already, and the fans are saying I have found the sauce. I can’t wait to perform these songs live on tour, but until then, we are just doing the groundwork,” he said.
Scalebaby has previously gained major traction and charted with songs such as Killa Dem Sick, Bigger, Cemetery ft Skillibeng and Foreign ft Prince Swanny.
He is making preparations to shoot the visuals for his new collaboration with fellow dancehall star Skeng.
