Renowned philanthropist and blogger ‘Big Stone’ has died
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Opposition Leader Mark Golding is mourning the death of well-known blogger and philanthropist Claude “Big Stone” Sinclair.
Golding shared the sad news via a social media post on Tuesday morning.
“We mourn the passing of ‘Big Stone’, a true son of the community. He was a caring soul with a deep passion for justice, always standing up for the vulnerable and giving a voice to those too often ignored,” he said.
Golding continued, “Through his camera and his platform, he shone a light on issues many would overlook, never relenting in his pursuit of what was right. Big Stone had a powerful presence, the kind that brought people together and inspired action. His impact will live on in the lives he touched and the change he fought for.”
The YouTuber had been battling stage four prostate cancer for some time. He also suffered a fall in 2024, injuring his back, for which he required surgery.
