KINGSTON, Jamaica — Investment company Eppley Limited has appointed former PROVEN Properties chief executive Aisha Campbell as president of its real estate and infrastructure business and promoted Samantha Summerbell to vice-president of credit, as it moves to scale investments across the Caribbean.

Campbell will lead the Eppley Caribbean Property Fund, Eppley’s direct real estate holdings and its expanding portfolio of infrastructure assets, while Summerbell will oversee the company’s on- and off-balance-sheet private credit businesses, including the Caribbean Mezzanine Fund. The appointments come as Eppley seeks to deepen its presence in private markets across the region.

Campbell joins Eppley from PROVEN Properties, where she served as chief executive officer and expanded the company’s real estate portfolio from US$20 million to US$140 million. She also oversaw more than US$250 million in commercial and residential developments across Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and Barbados.

She succeeds Denise Gallimore, who is leaving Eppley after more than eight years to take up a new role with Stanley Motta Limited / Felton Properties Limited. During her tenure, Eppley said its real estate platform grew to 1.1 million square feet of tenanted commercial assets across Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad.

“Denise has played a critical role in formalising Eppley’s real estate and infrastructure business. We are grateful for her commitment and are proud that an Eppley alumnus will now have the opportunity to lead another great real estate firm,” Eppley vice-chairman Nicholas Scott said in the release.

Summerbell’s promotion follows several years of executing what Eppley described as some of its most important transactions. She will now lead the firm’s private credit business, an area that has become an increasingly important part of its investment strategy.

“This is a moment of real momentum for Eppley,” chief executive officer Raymond Donaldson said. “Aisha is one of the most accomplished real estate executives in the Caribbean. Sam shares our investment philosophy and has established a track record of results.”

Eppley Limited invests primarily in private markets across the Caribbean, focusing on credit, real estate and infrastructure. The company manages several regional investment vehicles and has been expanding its portfolio of direct property and infrastructure assets as it seeks high and consistent returns for shareholders.
