I am a teacher and I had a loan with the Jamaica National Bank.

When I closed the loan on December 11, 2024, I received a letter from the bank that I was to take to the Ministry of Education (Heroes’ Circle).

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I submitted the letter to the ministry late, on April 2025. Because of my late submission of the JN letter to the ministry, the monthly deductions of $26,200.89 continued.

I have since been reimbursed for April, August, September, and October.

However, I have not yet received the reimbursement payments for seven months.

I have contacted the Ministry of Education officer in charge of Region One, regarding this matter and would appreciate your assistance.
