Brunch at Brew’d to offer premium Mother’s Day experience on Saturday
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Jermaine Harvey, the promoter of the three times a year event, Brunch at Brew’d, has promised that for this Mother’s Day edition on Saturday, patrons can expect a premium experience at the Police Officer’s Club in St Andrew.
“Everyone can expect to have premium fun at Brunch and Brew’d with a lot of food,” Harvey told the Jamaica Observer during a recent interview.
For five years now, Brunch at Brew’d has been a favourite brand for people seeking to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Mothers’ Day and Heroes weekend, Harvey said.
He highlighted that there will be deals, prizes and surprises for mothers and encouraged the public to stay glued to the Brunch and Brew’d social media pages for daily updates.

“There will be prizes and surprises. We will have deals for the mothers. We always have deals for them. We post daily updates on our TikTiok and Instagram. We have a deal that will run up to 4:00pm on the day of the event. It is an event where the attire is semi-formal. We don’t normally put a dress code to it but we always encourage [patrons to dress semi-formal. Just dress nicely and be comfortable. We have a wide variety of food from vegan to desert. We cater for everybody,” said Harvey.
“What makes this event special? I wouldn’t describe it as a party, but an event for everybody except kids because we have alcoholic beverages. It is an event for the young, middle-aged and the elders. We have a little bit of everything for everybody. It is a food inclusive event. We always say to the patrons, come for the food and stay for the fun. We start serving brunch at 4:00pm. It is an early event. You know how Jamaicans are, so we try to give them up to midnight. As you know, for some persons, Sunday is a rest day for them to get back to work,” Harvey shared.
Harvey said the music and entertainment on Saturday will be “a little bit of everything” as the aim is always to please every patron.

“For the younger people we do give them a little segment from their era. For the middle-aged, we give them a little bit. For the older folks we cater for them as well. We give a little bit of gospel, soca and R&B. We try to make it work for everybody.
“We play the music at an audible level, where I can have a conversation with you while enjoying the event. If you need a little time just to unwind and catch up with loved ones, Brunch at Brew’d is the place to be.
“All our patrons are usually repeat with additions. Each patron always brings someone new. People always want to bring out their mother whether biological or otherwise. They are always excited for the event especially because of the food. The food always is the main topic because it is not one of those brunches where the first 30 minutes of the brunch you are out of food,” Harvey said.
Music will be played by Team Shella, DJ Mad Dog and Pittyless.
